Rodney has over 40 years of healthcare leadership and management experience. During his career within the healthcare industry, Rodney has served in a number of chief management roles for a broad range of healthcare companies. His breadth of experience includes Vice President of Finance and CFO for American Medical Centers (the owner and manager of acute care and psychiatric hospitals), CFO of INA (now Cigna) Health Plan of Texas and Vice President and COO of Health America of Florida. As a pioneer in the Practiced Based–Single Specialty Surgery Center model, Rodney in 1987 co-founded Practice Development Associates, Inc. (ASC development consultant). In 1992, Rodney was a co-founder of AmSurg Corp, the world’s largest ambulatory surgery center company, there he served as Senior Vice President and Director.
